So as of lately, I’ve come to expect several things from McCain and Palin. Where once I was optimistic that John “Maverick” McCain would ‘reach across the aisle’ (or reach around heh thanks Nat), I now only expect nonsense. Seriously, no one should be shocked that the Rebublican ticket is now about 10 points behind Obama and Biden. Granted I’m fairly even handed when it comes to shenanigans and I do agree that Obama, and eff knows his wife have said their share. But out of a camp that has called Barack Obama: a terrorist, a muslim, the antichrist etc etc. Now they chant ‘kill him’ and ‘off with his head’. Fantastic. This is the sort of nonsense that is almost incomprehensible to me. Its not just crazy redneck ignorant people, who are definitely a percentage of Republican supporters. Upon further investigation, it’s…Christians? Yep, those same people who boast a love of neighbor and doing unto others etc etc. They pray for McCain to win the election at the start of rallies…I wonder what they will say when he loses…At any rate here’s some info on what happened. And honestly…what the fuck are we as a country with this shit.
